Car show finds

Trying to visit local car shows becomes a daunting task when there are 9 shows in you area on the same weekend. Guess the organizers never gave much thought to that fact...

Anyway, at each show no matter how few vehicles show up, I am always able to find a treasure or two. This show held at a local school, had a surprise star of the show for me. A one owner International Scout II in Mint Green with 68k original miles, all of the original paperwork, brochures and receipts. Hard to explain, these are rare, especially in this kind of condition, remarkable condition. VW is bringing back the International Scout in 2026 in EV format, what a waste, another useless EV on the road, just for a short time though.

Brookgreen Gardens (Part 1)

Yesterday we visited the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens with family for the first time. The gardens are simply amazing, there is so much to see that it would take months to get through all of the special areas that they have to share. 

There is a lot of history to this site, the important learned (experience) part is to relax, wonder, and maybe get lost in the natural beauty (from God) around you that is simply awe inspiring...
